The Wide London blade shape directs mortar towards the toe of the blade and away from the handle, helping to maintain a clean, controlled application throughout the working day. The blade and shank are forged from a single piece of uniquely formulated carbon steel — there are no welds and no internal voids, meaning the trowel will not weaken or crack under pressure. A special heat-tempering process ensures uniform blade hardness, whilst the taper ground blade provides the flexibility needed for precise mortar spreading. Each blade is hand polished to keep mortar centred and resist sliding. The 5-1/4" rugged translucent amber butyrate plastic handle is built to withstand tamping on bricks and concrete blocks without mushrooming. Every trowel is individually inspected to W.
